SBA Cares Act Payment Protection Program (updated January 9, 2021)
Farmers Bank will again participate in the third round of the CARES Act Paycheck Protection Program. To learn more about the latest program, click the link below.
On December 1, 2020, the Small Business Administration released public data about Paycheck Protection Program borrowers—specifically, the borrowers’ names, addresses, exact loan amounts and who their PPP lenders were. This was done by court order following lawsuits brought by media organizations seeking the data.
We want you to know that we, as your bank, did not publicly disclose the data and played no role in the court decision. Our commitment to protect your privacy is paramount, and we follow all applicable laws and regulations.
Unfortunately, we have heard that some third party businesses are using information from the court-ordered data release to market themselves to PPP customers. These communications may reference our bank’s name and may even imply that we have some kind of relationship. You should be aware that we will communicate directly with you about your PPP loan and the forgiveness process. If you have any doubt, please call us directly.
As always, our commitment is to your business’ financial health. Thank you for your ongoing partnership.
Update: LOBBY ACCESS – June 17, 2020
Thankfully, as an essential business, we’ve been able to remain open for you the past couple of months. During these uncertain times, it has brought our team great comfort to be able to remain in contact with our customers.
As you know, while our lobbies have been available by appointment throughout the pandemic, the doors remained locked for general entrance. Now, we’re looking forward to unlocking the doors to our lobbies on June 17th, 2020. We’re committed to providing you the best and healthiest banking experience possible. Read on to learn about the plans for serving you in our lobbies and what to expect.
What to Expect When you visit:
For teller transactions:
You are now welcome to come into the lobby for teller transactions when needed, no appointment necessary. Drive-up visits will continue as normal and we encourage you to consider this option when possible to avoid exposure to other customers in the lobby.
For other visits:
We will continue to limit occupancy (posted on the front door) in the lobby in an effort to maintain a healthier environment. For that reason, it is not mandatory, but we recommend you call to make an appointment for all other visits. This will allow us to prepare everything we can ahead of time in order to keep your visit as concise as possible.
When you enter the lobby for any type of visit:
The safety of our customers and employees is always our top priority. You’ll find these measures in place to help protect you when you visit the bank.
- A greeter will help direct you to the appropriate place in the lobby for your needs.
- We’ll have protective barriers in place for added safety.
- Hand sanitizer will be available for you and our staff to use.
- Masks are not required in the lobbies but are encouraged. If you do wear a mask in the lobby, the greeter will ask you to lower your mask for identification purposes.
- We’ll follow a maximum customer capacity for each location. This number will be posted on the door.
Rest assured, we’re continuing the same rigorous cleaning efforts we’ve had in place this whole time in our branches and the ATMs/PTMs.
Last, but certainly not least, we’d like to say THANK YOU for being patient and understanding. We know that many of you have made accommodations to your banking over the past couple of months. Perhaps you’ve had to wait a little longer at the drive-up or on the phone. Please know your patience has been appreciated and has not gone unnoticed. We truly are in this together!
If you have not already done so, please download the Farmers Bank mobile app to access your accounts online at www.farmersbankbly.com to view transactions, check balances, transfer funds, and more.
